Fair dinkum, the WHITEHAVEN ROOM cook is bending over backwards trying to please with this week's SUNDAY ROAST.
Not only has he put most peoples favourite, the Roast Beef & Gravy with vegies on the menu, he has gone all Asian with a very popular Thailand meal, Massaman Curry Chicken, served on steamed rice and with a side serving of sambles.
I know I'm going to have a hard time choosing.
Why don't you come along to the Airlie Beach Bowls Club WHITEHAVEN ROOM and have a hard time choosing also. At least with the desert, blueberry muffin with custard, you won't have to choose because blueberry muffin with custard is all there is.
You can enjoy the WHITEHAVEN ROOM ROAST DINNER with a quiet ale or two. Kitchen is serving from 5.30 to 7.00 PM, you don't have to book, but it would be nice (for the cook) if you sent a note to airliebowls@bigpond.com or phoned on 4946 7656 however, whatever you do, I advise you to be early rather than late.
